Hi All, I'm interested to know the different dart weights that you all use out there and whether there is much difference from that of an amateur to that of a pro. Do you change dart weight as you get better at the game to adjust your throw or do you slog on with the first set of darts you buy and try and get used to em? Cheers....6 Blimey! Over a hundred views and not one reply.....where is everyone? Never even heard from an administrator.....oh well there must be more forums to have a look at! All the best....P This post has been edited by Number Six, 26th Jan 2009 - 02:21 PM |

i have just moved up from 18g to 23g after playing with the same darts for about a year as i never got on with heavy darts. the 23g's are much more effective, i have also added longer stems which seem to balance the darts more and are more accurate. i also choose to use slim barrells so not to get bounces. i hope this is of help! |

Thanks for the response Bully, I have a few sets of darts and use medium nylon gripper type stems on all of them. I have a Unicorn T90 set but can't remember the weight! A 22gm set of Harrows that are brass nickel plated so the barrels are fairly thick and my regular darts which are Winmau Andy Fordham 'Viking Raiders' which i seem to play best with as i like the barrel shape for my particular grip. From memory the raiseds are 23gm. Cheers....Paul |

Hi, Well I am back playing Darts (well, at home at the moment) getting back into the game after 20 years, as then I was playing Club, Pub, and Super League, and loved the game. |
