Tony 'Silverback' O'Shea and Tricia Wright have won the 2009 Scottish Darts Open at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrewshire.
Tony Battled through a tough field beating Martin Atkins 5-4 in a close fought final. In the Semi final Tony beat Martin Phillips 4-2 in a cracking game. In the Quarter final Tony beat fellow Cheshire teammate Ian 'Diamond' White 3-2 and in the last sixteen Tony battled through against another Cheshire Teammate Gareth Pass 3-0. Earlier in the day Tony had also beaten Robert Hughes and Craig Baxter.

Stephen 'The Bullet' Bunting reached the last 64 of the tournament. Also Stephen Bunting, Dave Chisnall and Stephanie Smee won the Mixed Triples event at the Scottish Open 2009 beating Joe Murnan, Brian Derbyshire and Sue Smee 2-1.

Tricia Battled through a tough ladies field beating Karen Lawman 4-0 in the final. In the semi final Tricia beat Angela De Ward from Ireland 4-0.
