After the final Stephen said ''It is one of the biggest wins of my Career so far, after winning Ireland in November i knew i have been in top form and i hope to continue the form throughout the year. I am happy to be crowned the Tyne and Wear Open Champion 2009 as it was a top field with so many quality players and to keep playing at the level i did throughout the day is a great confidence builder for me. I am now looking forward to the Isle of Man on 13th March where i am hoping to emulate my great friend Dave Chisnall and take the title''. I would just like to say thank you to all the event organisers at the Tyne and Wear open and to A180darts who sponsored the tournament and also sponsored me for the event, Thanks to Karl and Dawn (A180) for the great weekend and to Dougie Smith my chauffer for the tournament and would also like to thank my Caddie/Coach Fred Ward for his continued support at the open. Also i have now fully updated my website with new photo content, etc. http://www.freewebs.com/stephenbunting180 |
