Wez Newton claimed the Lytham St Anne's Open on Bank Holiday Monday with an impressive win over Lancashire's County Captain Dougie Smith 5-0.

In the semi final Wez beat Dave Chisnall and Dougie beat John Phillips.

In the last 8 Dave beat Stephen Bunting and at 2-2 Dave hit the perfect 9 dart leg leaving Bunting sat on 145. About 1 hour earlier Mike Smith also hit the perfect 9 Dart leg against Dave Johnston.

What a great day of darts and for two people in one venue at the same tournament to hit the perfect game it was great to see.
