Well after this years showing what a total waste of money. Last year the fixture at Sheffield was awesome. Atmosphere and great darts. This year awfull. You were herded in with no allowance to the outside world once in. Smokers were going mad as they were told there was 1 exit you could use but then once in told not. Perhaps they just did not communicate to each other? the first 2 "Challenge matches" run afer Wayne withdrew (Get well soon mate) were just the players playing about - no real commitment. It just seemed like a big thanks for your cash now go away. We left atfer the Phil v Dennis match. They were scores of people out side all saying the same. Waste of money. 1 was even talking on his phone to someone inside telling them to come out as the atmoshphere was better. Perhaps it's time for a change? Maybe go for an "Exhibition knockout" every venue. 8 players, drawn out of hat on night play knockout, 4 back into hat for next round then final. At least there will always be a winner with something to play for. It just seemed dull What does everyone else think? The year before was so good - all I want is that back J |
